Probably English, a few of the shelves have minor stains and there are some shrinkage cracks to the bamboo but it does not affect the integrity of the piece. These were designed to hold collectibles and not super heavy items. The distance between the shelves is 10 1/2” so it can house sizable figures. A beautiful survivor of late Victorian/early Edwardian England. less
