Vintage Ornithology print on linen kerchief tapestry of "The Aviary: or Bird Fancyers Recreation" from an 18th century copperplate engraving by J. Laughton. Produced by Colonial Williamsburg Restoration - marked on corner of linen, visible from back of frame. Brown ink on white linen showing a American Colonial country landscape of figures, surrounded by a variety of native birds and a short description of each. Factory distressed beveled wood frame.
Features The Sky Lark, Bull Finch, Robin, Starling, Heath Thrush, Canary Bird, Woodlark, The Nightingale, Linnet, Wren, Goldfinch, Black Bird, and Tom Tit.
