In a rectangular form with repousse scenes of a forest village and its inhabitants on a stipled ground.

Retains a gilt interior.

Marked to the base with WH for Wang Hing / 97 / partial artist's mark.

Simply a wonderful Chinese silver box!

Late 19th or Early 20th Century

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There are a few light indentions to the interior rim, and the lid catches slightly when opening and closing. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Marked 97 for silver fineness.
