Inviting pair of matching Tear Drop swivel-tilt chairs by American modernist Milo Baughman and manufactured by Thayer Coggin, circa 1970s. Revolutionary construction featuring an enveloping barrel-back set on a plinth base that supports tilt swivel mechanism create the perfect club chair. The teardrop design that gently cradles while seemingly floating on air. Completely restored; reupholstered in a wonderful hue of mohair that feels supper soft and luxurious. Milo Baughman was one of the most agile and adept modern American furniture designers of the late 20th century. He focused almost exclusively on residential furnishings, and had a particular talent for lounge chairs.
