The sculptures are made of beautiful rose quartz called the Heart Stone in the Oriental Culture, rose quartz may have been used as a love token as early as 600 B.C. and is still an important talisman of relationships.
This pair in particular is particularly rare due to their size and unique design. Made in China, 19th Century.
