The lamp shade, measures 8 inches in diameter and 9 inches in height. It gives good strong light and is wired to US standards. The arm is spring-loaded and each of the two branches of the arm measure 20 inches in length. The arms may be extended and the shade aimed upwards to get more general room lighting.. The lamp attaches to the table top with a clamp adjustable to different tabletop thicknesses. It switches on/off with a button on the top of the lamp shade. The lamp cord can extend to 8-9 feet.

This black lamp is 50 years old and has wear appropriate for its age including light scratches on the shade. I was design director for an scandinavian design center in the 1990s and purchased the lamp from the center owners before I left the firm. less
