Up for sale is a beautiful pair of 19th century antique oil paintings depicting the portrait of a couple, husband and wife. It's exceptionally well done portraits, color and perspective, executed by hand of a well accomplished artist. Will suit any country house. Great statement piece of art.
On of the paintings is signed on the front C,1872. " illegible signature."
Both paintings are signed on the back of the frame, C. G. CAMHBELL. NEW YORK, NY . ( see pic)
Created with oils on stretcher canvas. It has been mounted in a gilt and gesso wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.

38.75" w x 4.5" d x 43.0" h / Inches

In good Antique condition, with some small chips in the paint and crackle oil texture. The frames are in good antique consition with some chips / marks. Please see all photos for additional details.
