This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
1960s massive gold-plated crystal brooch & matching clip-back earrings. The central section is centered w/ a huge marquise-cut "Siam Red" ruby crystal flanked by smaller marquise & pear-cut stones, which are embellished with Aurora Borealis tinting. From this hangs an articulated panel of graduated strands of small rounds, finished at the bottom w/ large pear-cuts. The earrings are smaller version of same design. KILLER!! Riveting with its rich saturated color, the dazzling impact of this set cannot be overstated. Sumptuous & scintillating! Mint condition. Brooch, 4.65"L x 2.5"W; earrings, 3"L x 1"W.
