This is a professionally framed map of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas printed 1978 by the Department of Lands & Surveys, Nassau, Government of the Bahamas. It is Incredibly detailed, shows every little town. It is Not a Disney tours map, but actually is an Historical artifact, as some of these towns no longer exist , since developers and cruise lines took over entire islands. It is not a nautical chart, but has color shaded depths with green land. If you have a Bahamas room; this should be your centropiece. . Frame is rugged and sturdy. Size is 20 inches by 19 inches
There is a flaw; but it has an advantage, There is a water stain on the backing that only shows on the front on lower right corner. None of your guests will read the fascinating fine print, that it is edition 1 by the British Governments Ministry of Overseas development; but the light but old water stain shows it was not printed in China 6 months ago. tell them it was from the last hurricand that blew through.

Has slight stain lower right, which adds to the patina ofage. The fine print at bottom that tells it was published by Departmemt of Lands and Survey in 1978 will never be read by your guests; but that watermark shows it is old; not just a modern print from China.
