- If you are a Napoleon lover or collector you will want this lamp! It is a rare vintage chalkware bust … more If you are a Napoleon lover or collector you will want this lamp! It is a rare vintage chalkware bust that looks like bronze and it is difficult to tell the difference. There is an eagle above the base with a brass plaque that says Napoleon 1st. The detail of the coat folds, facial expression, and hat are wonderful. The lamp is 35 1/2" tall with shade and finial, width of the bust is 12" and sits on a 2 3/4" wooden base. The shade is 20" wide at the bottom and 12' at the top. The shade is an ivory silk and original to the lamp. The finial is made of iron and is about 6" tall. The overall condition is very good, with a few minor chips as shown in the pictures which could be touched up. The shade shows signs of wear. All he needs is to find his Josephine! less
