19th Century Italian Painted Bench with Angels features incredible hand-carved sculptures of angels on each end and at the middle, originally designed as a church pew for an opulent private chapel. Distressed painted finish adds a pleasing touch. Note the Baroque influence in the architecture, with boldly scrolled and molded side supports with a matching center support. Openings between the supports are beautifully framed with undulating scrollwork with foliate flourishes. An excellent choice for in front of a large window!
