Fantastic hand colored engraving of the aftermath of the Battle of Waterloo “Conveying the French Cannon from the Field of Battle, on the 24th July 1815”.
Less than a year later, in 1816, R. Bowyer, Pall Mall, U.K. published this engraving, which was made from a drawing made on the spot on July 24th 1815.
The engraving has been hand colored in beautiful, finely detailed colors.
