The steel frames and bases show only minor nicks in the paint the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided. Each lamp includes functioning bulbs seen in photos and both switches (with both high and low light settings) work exactly as they should. About George Kovacs
George Kovacs, born in 1926 in Vienna, Austria, was a pioneering figure in modern lighting design. He introduced innovative designs and materials, including the first American-made halogen torchiere. Kovacs was known for his collaborations with other prominent designers, such as Karim Rashid and Ingo Maurer. He retired in 2000, leaving behind a legacy of modern, stylish, and functional lighting fixtures that continue to be celebrated today.
