A pair of vintage gleaming heavy brass sculptural bookends. The bookends are well made with elegant lifelike detailing of the horse's alert focused ears, full mane and muzzle. They have developed a rich patina. Each horse head has a red felt protective bottom. The pair serves as decorative bookends or may stand alone as works of art.
