An exceptional antique Malayer rug, handwoven circa 1900 with a floral medallion on a navy blue Herati design field and particularly attractive mid blue border. This rug is in outstanding condition with a very fine weave, fabulous wool quality and great colours. Highly collectible.
Size: 2.00m x 1.35m (6ft 7in x 4ft 5in)
This rug is in excellent condition with good pile and minimal wear. Ends and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
