Beautiful round porcelain dish or circular box with cover in blue and white. This chinoiserie Circular Box with cover is dated to the Ming Dynasty and is finely decorated with a crisp blue and white hue. This dish is short and wide with a delicate lid. The top is decorated with flowers which look like dandelions. Surrounded by concentric circles with patterned details on the outside. The sides of the piece are painted with matching patterns to the cover.
Believe to be from Da Ming Chenhua Nian Zhi or, Made during the Chenghua reign of the great Ming dynasty (1465-1487).
