Description: Victorian chest of drawers, with a top hat drawer in the center flanked by 4 smaller drawers, then below 3 … more Victorian chest of drawers, with a top hat drawer in the center flanked by 4 smaller drawers, then below 3 graduating drawers. The drawers are pine lined with no knot holes, so very solid, original handles, these have gained an wonderful patina and colour over the years, no keys unfortunately. Inside the hat drawer is a name badge, of a shop called J.R.Roberts Stores ltd, Stratford Broadway, London. This store was opened in 1870, by his brother Thomas, was this one of the first pieces in the shop?. This piece of timeless furniture can only get better with age, and provenance. less
