Virginia Sevier Rogers was born in Fort Collins, Colorado, Rogers studied with Hugh Breckenridge at the PAFA in 1934 and then earned a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina and her M.A. at UC Berkeley. She pursued art at Berkeley and later in 1971 she moved to the Monterey Peninsula and purchased a farm on the Carmel Valley Road. Member of Society of Western artists, Artists Equity. less
