Pencil signed by the artist, lifetime woodblock Toshi Yoshida print. Toshi Yoshida was a prominent Japanese artist known for his woodblock prints and paintings. He was born on July 25, 1911, in Tokyo, Japan, into a family of artists.
Yoshida's artistic style was heavily influenced by both traditional Japanese ukiyo-e prints and Western artistic techniques. Throughout his career, Toshi Yoshida traveled
extensively, both within Japan and abroad, gathering inspiration for his artworks. He produced numerous woodblock prints and paintings, many of which depicted scenes from his travels, including landscapes, cityscapes, and cultural landmarks.
Toshi Yoshida passed away on July 1, 1995, leaving behind a rich legacy of artwork that continues to be celebrated and admired by art enthusiasts worldwide. His works are held in various museums and private collections around the world, contributing to his enduring influence on the art world.
