This abstract work depicts a group of figures that appear to be standing in an interior near a doorway. Signed in Hebrew by the artist to the lower right, the piece is also dated to the lower right and marked "A.P." to the lower left for Artist's Proof. The piece is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame and a cream mat.

Born in Hummel, Russia, Giladi studied at the Art Academy in Leningrad during the 1920s. During the 1930s, he immigrated to Israel and became one of the founders of Kibbutz Afikim where he continued to paint and often would depicts images of family life on a kibbtuz. In 1948 and again in 1954, he was awarded the Dizengoff Prize for Painting and Sculpture and in 1960, he awarded the Histadrut Labor Federation Prize. less
