Perfect for backgammon fans, board game players, etc. Backgammon is one of the oldest known board games. Its history can be traced back nearly 5,000 years to archaeological discoveries in Mesopotamia. It is a two-player game where each player has fifteen pieces that move between twenty-four triangles according to the roll of two dice. This classic backgammon game is the perfect set for beginners and advanced players alike and includes everything you need to play; perfect for game night, parties or Holiday gatherings. Take your game anywhere: everything is tucked away in the designated areas and the game folds up into a leatherette briefcase style. Great vintage 70s condition overall, complete with no missing pieces. Some discoloration on metal hardware/bracket that holds the handle; felt lining with sewn-on leatherette triangles inside; felt lined leatherette dice cups; sticker on outside reads "Made in Taiwan". NOTE: 6 of the 8 corners on outside are slightly split but do not affect the overall use of the case. May show slight shelf wear on the outside. Rare find, highly collectible--stored in a cool, dry place, comes from a smoke free pet free home.
