The base is made from wood and has a descending stack of classic book titles that look like they have been haphazardly placed on top of each other. The books are titled - Sonnets by Browning, La'Rousse, Keats, Don Juan, Robin Hood, Little Women, Homer, Jane Eyre, and Oliver Twist. The lamp is topped with an angular vintage shade that has a burlap-like texture. Both pieces are in great condition and work beautifully.
