PLEASE NOTE: . This Chinese export item is made with great detailing to resemble authentic French antiques, although it is a contemporary Chinoiserie item. The French were amongst the first Europeans to collect Chinese Monochrome porcelains and these late 20th Century tall Amphora style vases or urns are perfect for a mantelpiece.
These vases are LARGE and HEAVY (please see size and weight below) vintage Chinese porcelain ceramic urns with ornamental gold leaf details.. These impressive vintage urns/vases have a beautiful gray/green color on the ceramic portion.....similar to a dark celadon or grayish sage color.
The metal handles and centerpiece portions have been gilded in ornamental gold leaf with dark aging coming through in some areas as seen in the photos. New felt dots have been added to the bottom feet in order to protect your furniture. Signed: Castilian on bottom of each urn.
EXCELLENT CONDITION... Some minor spotting of color on the ceramic portions ... barely noticeable. The new owner will be very happy about the vintage condition of these urns. Beautifully aged patina for that antique look on a mantelpiece. cabinet, large bookshelf, console or buffet credenza.
