This gorgeous piece is carved of rich dark wood. The back resembles a Venetian Grotto shell. It has splayed legs with lines carved down the front of the two front chairs. It is upholstered in a bright yellow fabric with intricate trim around the seat. The top of the chair has scalloped edges which extend over the back of the chair. When the chair is pushed in at a dining table, the back shines with its carved scalloped accents on the back. This chair can hold its own alone as an accent chair in a living room or formal room. It could also be used as a dining chair. We also like the idea of using it as a vanity chair or dressing table seat as the back looks beautiful from behind as well.
