This Chair is a stunning example of craftsmanship and design from the Art Nouveau period, reflecting both elegance and functionality. The chair's frame is constructed from sturdy wood, the wicker backrest adds texture and visual interest to the chair, providing comfort and support for the sitter. Wicker was a popular material during the Art Nouveau period due to its lightweight nature and its ability to be shaped into intricate patterns. Wood is in original condition, has been kept indoors and conditioned regularly; seat has some stains (as pictured). There are two minor flaws in the wicker, overall in very good condition. The chair diassembles into 2 pieces for easier cleaning/shipping.
