2” Duct taped section at neck of light bulb torch, (above hat). There for an area that might need tightening. Minor chips here or there. One seen on bottom of soldier base in rear. Dusty in crevices. Power exertion cord protective clear outer layer has peeled off to a large degree and dry in areas. However that was not the only layer. The wire is bound in another layer. However, Recommend rewiring lamp. Presently works in this condition. Flickers at top loose lightbulb recepticle.

Sculpture … more Duke of Vendome to Louis XIV sculpted Chalkware 4’ statue lamp on matching highly decorated base.
In working order.
Sculpture is painted throughout in a matte finish, note the faded or subtle brass gold trim throughout.
Plaque at feet reads Vendome in a nice projected, detailed and attached fashion.
Costume is a flamboyant Fancy French statement. Sporting full long curly hair, bucked heel shoes and a flowing cape.
The unknown sculpture captures this debutant with their elegant showmanship pose.
Louis Joseph de Bourbon, Duke of Vendôme, often simply called Vendôme (1 July 1654 – 11 June 1712) was a French general and Marshal of France. One of the great generals of his era, he was one of Louis XIV's most successful commanders in the War of the Grand Alliance and War of the Spanish Succession.
The lamp works there is some electrical tape located above his hat below the lightbulb holder.
We have not removed it or investigated that however, the lamp is solid in every other way no noticeable chips or cracks.
Neck does not move or wobble when piece has been moved or inspected.
The glass base that could be purchased separately would be 4” wide and have verging heights.
The larger the better in my opinion.
Please email any questions prior to purchase. Happy to offer more photos of additional angles.
