Presented for purchase is an attractive hand crafted and hammered, patinated copper and bronze alloy, mid century brutalist decorative set by one of very few female Hungarian industrial artists, Ildikó Szilágyi.
Vintage chalice bowl and coin trinket dish with elaborate modernist design relief. It’s a perfect wedding & anniversary gift, Father’s Day, or housewarming present which will add eye catching elegance to any home.

Ildikó Szilágyi was born in 1939 in Budapest. She graduated from the College of Applied Arts in 1962 as a student of Miklós Borsos. Between 1962-1964 she was a designer at the State Mint, and an employee of the Hungarian Industrial Arts Company.
Since 1968, Ildikó has exhibited her goldsmithing works, jewelry, and sculptures country wide. In 2007, she was awarded the Ferenczy Noémi Award; a state award that is awarded in recognition of outstanding industrial art and industrial design art activity . less
