The exquisite English Setter dog figurine was designed by Frederick Daws and created by Harry Nixon, who was the head of the Royal Doulton painting department beginning in 1900. This beautiful figurine was designed after English Champion Maesydd Mustard. Hallmarked: ROYAL DOULTON seal on one foot and hand signed by the Lead Artist on the other foot with the series number (HN 1051).
MEASUREMENTS: 4” H x 6 “ L x 1.75 W.
The sitting Cocker Spaniel puppy measures 2.75” T x 3” L x 1.5” W, and although he is designed with a bandage on his paw, he is actually also in excellent condition. He was introduced in the mid-30’s. stamped Doulton England K9 less
