Huge Italian Murano glass table or table lamp, 1970s. Mushroom-shaped body made up of two pieces of Murano glass that fit together and act as diffusers. The lower piece is made of slightly smoked glass and more translucent than the upper piece, which is made of white opaline glass. The lamp holder sits on a central metal piece. Very much in the style of the Daruma lamp by Sergio Asti for Candle. Also very much in the style of the Italian glass creations of Aldo Nason, Vistosi, F. Fabbian, De Majo and Mazzega.
For an E27 bulb. Original electrical system revised. Perfect state.
