This cupboard has a simple design but has a decorative painting in a deep green color with floral decorations in the panels. This copy is still in good condition considering its age, although there are of course some signs of use. There are some old woodworm traces visible throughout, which have of course been checked and treated. The crest has also been replaced at some point. The cupboard has a well-functioning lock with key and is equipped with the original coat hooks and a wooden rod on the inside. If desired, you can easily add shelves. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding. This furniture was subsequently placed on the farm in a stately room that was only rarely used for high-ranking visitors or special occasions. A beautiful and decorative piece of history.
