Description: A pair of vintage Night stand Lamps light, airy and very refined. Most likely made in Italy, where we found … more A pair of vintage Night stand Lamps light, airy and very refined. Most likely made in Italy, where we found them, they are mainly handmade, cutting and bending natural fibers as was used to make most of the furniture and furnishing accessories intended for sea homes on the Riviera. The round wooden base, with a diameter of 13.5cm, is covered with woven wicker cane and framed by thin rattan slats, as are the lampshades that create a wonderful light effect thanks to the texture of the woven wicker cane that acts as a filter. The main support of these table lamps is natural and primitive thanks to the use of two thick bamboo canes, cut and left with a natural finish to support the lampshades. The lamps work with small socket bulbs, called E14 in Italy, and are in good vintage condition. The lamp has no obvious breaks or defects but is embellished with a splendid patina of time.
