The hinges have been restored and and other minor restorations have been done by Gracie Studio in New York. Like many of these old Japanese screens it is not perfect and needs to be handled with care, but, it was recommended that no further restoration be done. It wasn't needed.

The screen is in six panels. Each panel is approx. 24" wide x 68" tall. The back is in very good condition, with one 4" tear one one of the panels. Although it is against the wall, should you want it repaired, we will be happy to accommodate the buyer. Remember, these elegant and beautiful Screens are made of paper, but you could not buy a European Painting of the same quality of most of these screens or having the impact for 10 times the cost of these.
