Each of the eight chairs present a tall arched back and feature four carved "os de mouton" (sheep bone) legs. In as found upholstery, with no tears or stains, the chairs are finished with large aged brass tacks.

Os de mouton is a design term that refers to the classic stretchers that are a defining element of Louis XIII furniture. The shape of the chair legs is based on the shape of the legs of a lamb. The term is translated literally as "mutton bone." Stylish and functional, this set of eight 20th Century French Louis XIII Carved Sheep Bone Dining Chairs will add a French touch to all interiors.
