We know this title needs no introduction, however, we feel obliged to give a little history on one of the greatest titles in print media. Vogue is a fashion and lifestyle magazine covering many topics including fashion, beauty, culture, living, and runway. Vogue began as a weekly newspaper in 1892, by Arthur Baldwin Turnure, in the United States, before becoming a monthly publication years later. In 1909, publication rights were sold to Conde Montrose Nast, who changed Vogue to a unisex magazine and started overseas publications in the 1910s. As of today, there are 23 international editions.
This particular cover was illustrated by Hungarian born costume designer and illustrator Marcel Vertes. Artist signature in the print in the lower left-hand corner of the cover.
These original vintage covers are becoming increasingly hard to find. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own one of these amazingly beautiful covers. less
