The Fornasetti plates in the Conchiglie pattern depict different sea shells and sea anemones.
Diameter: 9 3/16 inches
Fornasetti's whimsical and colorful Conchiglie pattern features a different sea creature filling the center well of each plate, surrounded by assorted sea animals, shells, mollusks and fishes. While many of the creatures are realistically rendered, there are a few fantastic animals as well.
The plates each have an applied foam ring around the foot so they can be hand on the wall.
Marks: all but one on Eschenbach, Bavaria blanks, Fornasetti mark,
