This light is the perfect definition of Art Deco with its streamline silver Details which flows with the skyline of New York which I believe is made of bronze. This light was made for The famous Arnie Morton founder of Morton’s steakhouse originating in Chicago. This really does capture the era of 1920’s Deco. I am not sure that the light is that old due to the fact that it is in such good shape, I do believe that it is newer. The bottom globe is made of plastic instead of glass and gives a soft illuminated glow to the bottom and the top of the city skyline is illuminated up into the blue starry sky. I can't help but feel like this light belongs in a billiard room or Art deco theater themed room. To me it just reads super cool fun vibe! Due to the fact that I have never seen anything like this, it is safe to say we will probably never find another. This piece is truly a one-of-a-kind and will make any room stand out amongst the rest. This light is definitely something your neighbor won't have! This light hangs down from a chain which you can mount into your ceiling or red just for size. In the measurements I recorded 30 inches as the height, this could be off by an inch or two I measured it from the top of the dish which sits on your ceiling to the very bottom tip of the light.
