The entire lamp has been meticulously cleaned and the metal chrome and brass surfaces have been polished. There are minor signs of wear, such as some marks and dings on the top surface of the base, but the lamp is in excellent condition for its age. It is newly rewired, with the original switch and socket, and comes with an E39 (mogul) to E24 (standard) adapter.

Description: Gorgeous brushed chrome Art Deco floor lamp with brass accents and trumpet diffuser, set off with 4 clear Lucite arcs … more Gorgeous brushed chrome Art Deco floor lamp with brass accents and trumpet diffuser, set off with 4 clear Lucite arcs that follow the curve of the diffuser. The lamp is newly rewired and has been meticulously cleaned and polished. It has a porcelain E39 mogul base for the bulb socket, which was common in floor lamps from the 1920s to the 1930s. An adapter is included to allow the lamp to use regular E26 bulbs.
Provenance: the lamp was originally part of the interior of the Hotel Pulaski in Pulaski, Virginia, which was demolished in the 1970s. Based on this fact, the mogul bulb base, and the Lucite (invented by DuPont in 1931), the lamp was likely made in the 1930s. less
