On the Design:

A field of silver-gray hues underscores a repeat of floral patterns in both white and teal tones. Though this form represents a more minimalist approach, admirers of the craft and keen eyes will note inspiration from the many provenances known for repeating floral patterns in dense, deftly woven designs as this—a thoughtful and elegant new take on a traditional look.

The block printing process is one of the oldest in textile design and has seen many adaptations. To wit, many of our designs draw on time-honored, even archaic designs, such as 17th-century Mogul rug patterns that allow admirers of the craft to make their own personal connection. Some of our contributions to the aesthetic include a subtle high-low texture for an added sense of dimension, a wool-and-silk blend that creates a more elegant play of the light, and a wider range of vibrant, contemporary colors that brighten and enrich a room.
