Graduated faceted beads of cherry amber Bakelite on original silk stringing, with a hidden clasp with traditional carved ivory spindle. This rare and desirable Bakelite beauty is luminescent, with a radiant cherry garnet glow. Light flows through and around the carefully faceted beads, shimmering and seductive. The clasp is comprised of two beads connected by a hidden ivory spiral twist closure. Very hard to find treasure, especially in this shorter length. Subtly stunning! 15.5"L, largest bead, 0.6 dia.
