Great Minimalist glass and composition "apple" sculpture designed by Philippe Starck and made by CIVE Italy. This was made for the opening of the hotel in 1994. The glass is marked in the mold as shown in picture.
Very rare green glass fruit bowl (originally for an apple), made for The Peninsula Hong Kong opening ceremony on DEC 1st, 1994.
This glass object was designed by Philippe Starck and made of green colored glass.
Embossed with "Starck for THE PENINSULA PREMIERE December 1, 1994", made in Italy.
This artifact was made in one single limited series for just the invited guests and was never produced afterwards.
It is one of the rarest and most collectibles of Starck's design.
