This David Hockney very rare vintage 1980 lithograph print custom framed large exhibition poster " Still Life, Taj Hotel, Bombay " 1977, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print poster is published by The Grey Art Gallery and Study Center, New York University. Printed in England in 1980 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition. It features an artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1977 titled " Still Life, Taj Hotel, Bombay ", copyright David Hockney 1977, courtesy Petersburg Press.

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print large format framed exhibition poster print measures 28 3/8" W X 38 7/8" H X 1 5/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed beveled detail matte eggshell finish gray stained solid white oak wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and light minor wear.
