Brilliant American Folk Art painting. A group of figures outside on a nice Summer day.
There is so much happening in this depiction of urban American life. A young girl in a blue dress stands in a stoic pose. Young children watch animals in a cage on the back of a flatbed truck. Two young boys play on the steps of their apartment building and a man with a fedora is slumped over a park bench.
Original oil on canvas. Dimensions 24" x 18".
Initialed PHW in the lower right corner (faintly). Notes on the back with the artist name.
