This console made of patinated titanium and signed by Xavier Mennessier features a parallel rectangular base and top, connected by a solid block designed in a shiny, rounded pattern reminiscent of colorful bubbles of life. The piece is covered with an expressionist abstract pattern made from a unique composite metallic art, which gives it a radiant, almost magical quality. The console subtly reflects its surroundings, capturing and transforming light in a way that resembles the glimmer of jewels, adding a dynamic and enchanting presence to any space.
Xavier Mennessier's career reflects a high level of expertise and extraordinary creativity. His apprenticeship with fellow craftsmen in Reims marks the beginning of a talented career. His first professional experience at Betemps' forge confirmed his taste for original creation with all kinds of architectural ornamentation. Later, Xavier Mennessier joined the Coubertin Foundation, which further shaped his work. This foundation promotes perfection through the quality of manual work. The metalworking workshop enjoys an international reputation for exceptional craftsmanship. Once again, Xavier Mennessier excelled in various projects: from ancient heritage to contemporary buildings, mastering both ancient and cutting-edge techniques. These diverse professional experiences obviously reinforced his perfect mastery of this craft, but that would be nothing without a rich creativity. Many travels around the world have allowed him to perceive other methods of creation and enrich his ideas of forms and techniques for creating objects in various metals. His work at the Forge de Style in New York and France strengthens his passion for the profession but also marks a turning point in his life. less
