Noboru Tsurutani was born in Japan and attended school at the Kanazawa College of Art. After graduating from college, Tsurutani moved to the United States and taught art for more than 30 years. While in New York, he learned screenprinting techniques and began developing serigraphs. Tsurutani received numerous awards for his works, including from the Philadelphia Exhibition Print Club and the Paris Print Biennial. less
