This Vintage Morton pitcher boasts a beautiful relief in faux-bois pattern with smooth finish.
Made with durable stoneware material using traditional pottery techniques. Raised areas have a pink coloring and and the body is a beautiful creamy color. Can be used as a vase or beverage pitcher. Slightly tapered from 4.5" wide at top to 5" at bottom. Weighs about 5 lbs.
The term "Morton pottery" refers to the work of several companies that were all located in Morton, Illinois. Morton pottery was produced in the late 1800s through the late 1970s.
