A wonderful antique primitive take down table manufactured by the Tomlinson Company in Winchester, Kentucky. The table is called a Tomlinson Take Down Table. It was one of the first banquet tables manufactured to be quickly disassembled and stored easily and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. The table top comes off and the legs are in three pieces, the two sides and the middle piece to connect them. A versatile table for your home.
In 1914, Tomlinson founded what was then called the Tomlinson Company to create wood products, including the Tomlinson Takedown Table, the first collapsible table that can still be found in locations across Winchester.
