This … Read more Remarkable example of a French secretaire of the Louis XVI period. Marked with signature "M. Gilman" in multiple places. This special piece features expert inlay work throughout and adorned with a few tasteful ormolu additions as well as solid brass ball feet. The inlay work consists of a floral arrangement encircled by a ribbon and leaf motif. The bottom doors feature a pair of intricately decorated classical urns. Two original working keys accompany this piece. See less
