Another large Crinoid fossil from our collection. Crinoids are more commonly known as sea lilies and are members of the Echinodermata phylum with the starfish and sea urchins. Our particular Crinoid plate fossil was unearthed in Morocco, where are old friend discovers them for us. Similar in appearance to underwater flowers and are among the oldest fossils, dating to the Ordovician period 450 million years ago.
