Description: High style English Hepplewhite games table of the early 1800s. This" D" end card table is full of magnificent complexities. … more High style English Hepplewhite games table of the early 1800s. This" D" end card table is full of magnificent complexities. The central top is inlaid in light wood with pen work against a ribbon mahogany field, bound by banding which outlines a major border of satinwood and extends to banding and line inlays at the rim. At the apron a central urn is flanked by further leafage and floral devices. Satinwood tablets rest above square tapering legs with rosette and bell flower inlay. Cuffs with light and dark bands terminate the line inlay on the leg at the foot. A felt covered interior holds the cards when dealing.
