Expertly constructed with hand-carved walnut in the popular and romantic Rococo style, the padded and domed back is joined by dramatic out-swept padded arms. Comfortable for napping beyond belief, the shaped cushioned seat above an apron raised on cabriole legs with scrolled toes, Totally disassembled, our own in-house conservation experts built gussets and corner blocks to add extra stability to the frame before we ever even thought about the upholstery. The upholstery is perfect, the right color, the right feel and the right appearance, the highly coveted Todd Hase 100% silk upholstery. Our master upholsterer also installed new coil springs, webbing and padding. This amazing antique will easily last another 200 years or more without any issues.
